N318G was purchased new in 1966 and flown home by one of our current members, John Malene.  It has a Continental IO 520 engine rated to 285 hp.  It is an excellent cross country aircraft with a carrying capacity equivocal to the Cessna 182.  Unlike the Cessna 182, it is a retractable gear aircraft and has a higher cruise speed of 160 knots.
